YANKEE CANDLE FUNDRAISING

At registration, every PEAQ family was charged a fundraising deposit:  $150 for one swimmer; $300 for multi-swimmer families.  This fundraiser is an opportunity to recoup your fundraising fee (up to the amount of fee paid).  If Yankee Candle is not for you, don’t worry, there will be a Sarris Candy fundraiser later this season.

Yankee Candle is a great fundraiser that offers several sales options.  Yankee Candle will return 40% of sales to your swim account.  Once the fundraiser is over (end of January), your swim account will be credited up to the amount of the fundraising deposit charged at registration.  Packets are available at both pools.  Packets will also be handed out Tuesday at the Team Picture Night.

IMPORTANT DATES

Fundraising Starts                    Monday, November 6th

Catalog Order Forms Due        Friday, November 17th

Online Sales End                     Thursday, January 11th  

 

CATALOG SALES

  • Grab a packet at the pool.

  • Share the catalog with friends and family.  Complete orders on the paper order forms.

  • You collect the cash or have individual checks written out to YOU! 

  • Once you are done shopping, submit order forms and ONE check:

    • You keep the PINK copy of the order form;

    • Turn in the WHITE copy and YELLOW copy of the order form;

    • Turn in ONE CHECK for all orders payable to Upper St Clair Swim Club (don't worry if you are registered as a CV swimmer, you still get the credit.  Checks to USC is just how we are doing business)

  • There will be collection envelopes in the CV Pool Office and in the Family Folder Box at USC.

  • CATALOG ORDERS WILL BE DUE FRIDAY NOVEMBER 17 TO ENSURE HOLIDAY DELIVERY.  

  • NOTE:  There is NO SALES TAX or SHIPPING charged for the paper catalog sales.

  • Orders will be passed out in late December at the pool

ONLINE SALES

  • You and your friends/family can go directly to the website: 

  • On the bottom right of this page, look for the START SHOPPING BOX, insert our group number 999977414 and click “Start Shopping”.  

  • At checkout, have the person add your last name as the sellers to ensure you get credit for the sale. 

  • ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH JANUARY 11.

  • Note, SALES TAX and SHIPPING are charged for online orders.

  • Note, there is an option to register as a seller online, but that is completely optional.  Registering allows you to use the website's marketing tools and keep track of your sales.  If you don’t register, just tell your friends and family to use the group number and add your last name as the seller at checkout.  You will still get credit even if you don’t register as a seller online.
