· This is our beginning group (pre competitive)
· Focus on skill development and technique in strokes
· Progression for racing starts.
· Speed is not the focus.

· Starts and turns.
· Speed is not the focus.

· 50 yds proficient backstroke
· 50 yds proficient free and back kick
· forward dive
· appropriate listening skills
· understanding of breast pull and kick
· understanding of fly kick

Age Group - Grey Level - 3 days M W F 6:00 PM-7:15 PM
· Focus on skill development and technique in strokes
· Starts and turns.
· Speed is not the focus.

Age Group - Blue Level - 4 days M H W F 6:00 PM-7:30 PM (No Practice Tuesdays)
· Focus on skill development and technique in strokes
· Starts and turns.
· Speed will be developed.
· Approximately 50% of work is kicking.
· It is recommended that swimmer attend at least 2 nights a week while attending 3 days a week regularly.

· 100 yds proficient free w/ rhythmic breathing
· 100 yds proficient backstroke
· 100 yds proficient free and back kick
· 100 yds breaststroke
· 50 yds butterfly
· forward dive
· appropriate listening skills

Age Group - Black Level – 5 days M - F 6:00 PM to 7:45 PM
· Continued focus on skill development and endurance (technique first, speed later).
· Basic interval training/aerobic conditioning.
· Compete in “long events” for age group. 25-50% of work is kicking.
· It is recommended that swimmer attend at least 3 nights a week while attending 4 days a week regularly.

Criteria:
· 500 free with proficient breathing, kick and turns
· 100 each stroke with legal turns and kicks (speed will be a factor)
· 200 kick of each stroke (speed will be a factor)

Equipment list: Goggles, Clinton Cuda Cap, Fins and T-shirt. Team Jacket highly recommended.

Senior Level –6 days M-F 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM , Sat. TBA
· Entry into the Senior Level is a privilege not a right
· Swimmers should be ready to make a greater time commitment and handle a heavier practice load.
· Positive attitude and willingness to work hard are required
· It is recommended that swimmer attend at least 3 nights a week while attending 4-5 days a week regularly.

Criteria:
· Appropriate attitude
· Recognize position of being active role model for entire team
· Have and maintain a positive attitude toward training and racing
· Be prepared to train at highest level possible on daily basis
· Be on time to practice and in water when told
· 10x 100 free @ 1:30
· 10x100 kick @ 155
· 200 each stroke proficiently
· Swimmer should be prepared to attend all practices.
· High school swimming season-should come once a week.
