Pre-Comp Program

Pre-Competitive Program

The Pre-Comp group is the perfect fit for those looking for their first experience with a competitive swim team while balancing their involvement in other activities. This training group is meant to bridge the gap between a child’s first experience with either a learn-to-swim program or a summer recreation swim team and a year-round competitive swim team.

The group is designed for swimmers ages 6 to 10 years old, offering three practices per week. During these practices, the swimmers will learn the foundations of the sport in order to prepare themselves for future competitive swim groups; doing so in a fun and friendly environment.

Starting in August 2018, we will be offering a fall and spring session.  Each session will include a series of splash meets to provide both the swimmers and coaches an opportunity to demonstrate their continual growth throughout the session.  Swimmers will also have the opportunity to compete in a designated USA Swimming sanctioned meet towards the end of their session.

Pre-Comp is specifically designed for new members only.  Practices for this group will be offered at our North location with group times based on age group.  Our goal for swimmers in this group is that once they are ready to move into the year-round program they will have made friends on the team and understand what club swimming is about!
