Commitment: Come to practice whenever you can- no excuses!
Character: Say something positive to a teammate at every workout!
Competition: Train at practice like you would swim in a meet!
Black III
Commitment: Show up to practice- even if you have a bad day at school/home.
Character: Be the best person you can be, even when no-one is looking.
Competition: Learn from your races no matter the outcome.
Silver
Commitment: Show up to afternoon workouts.
Character: Be respectful and encouraging of all your teammates.
Competition: Swim every race like it is your last.
Red 1
Commitment: if you come to the pool, you get in the water
Character: cheer on your teammates/don't be mean
Competition: aim to be the best
Red 2
Commitment: come to practice and races on time
Character: be helpful to our teammates
Competition: try your best
Red 3
Commitment: show up to every swim event
Character: give 110% and don't give up
Competition: act professionally and take swim meets seriously, no goofing around
Learn to Swim
Commitment: practice the 4 strokes on your own time, at the pool or at home
Character: good sportsmanship, praising or cheering on your teammates after each lap.
Competition: be able to swim the 4 strokes legally by April
