Senior 2

Coaches: Ken Dory

Senior 2 is the top level CMAC training group for swimmers 13&over.  Swimmers in this group will focus on developing in all areas of swimming.  They are focused on the overall development of their abilities and compete at the highest level of competition. 

Competition Expectations:

Senior 2 swimmers compete in one (1) White/Red/Blue meet per month and swim 50’s, 100’s, and 200’s of freestyle and different strokes.

Practice Schedule:

Water:

Mon-Thurs 5:45-7:15pm

Fri 5:00pm-6:00pm; Saturday 9:00am-10:30am

​Dryland: Tues & Thurs 5:15pm-5:45pm

Dryland IS required for S2 swimmers

Practice Expectations:

Required to attend four (4) workouts per week

Apparel/Equipment Requirements:

Senior 1

Coach: Daniel Vale

The Senior 1 group is composed of swimmers 13 & up.  Swimmers in this group must be able to complete 200 yards of freestyle/backstroke on their own as well as 100 yards of butterfly and breaststroke on their own.  The focus of the Pre Senior group is to develop a strong training work ethic and complete challenging workouts/sets to improve competition times.  Swimmers in the group learn advanced drills and terminology in order to prepare for placement in the Senior II Group with Coach Ken. 

Competition Expectations:

Senior 1 swimmers compete in one (1) White/Red/Blue meet per month and swim 50’s, 100’s, and 200’s of freestyle and at least one different stroke.

Practice Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 5:15pm-6:30pm

Practice Expectations:

Encouraged to attend three (3) workouts or more per week.

Junior 2

Coach: Kelly Dullard

A group designed for age group swimmers training for 11-12 "Red Times", "Blue Times," and "JO Times". 10 & Under swimmers with multiple 'Red', 'Blue' & 'JO Times' may be a part of the group with Coach approval.  Dry land is required in addition to swim workouts.  Times are NOT the only requirement for this group.  Swimmers must maintain a positive attitude, good work ethic, and be able to train consistently, developing in all four strokes.

Competition Expectations:

J2 swimmers compete in one (1) White/Red/Blue meet per month and swim 50’s, 100’s, and 200’s of different strokes.

Practice Schedule:

Water:

Mon-Thurs 5:45-7:15pm

Fri 5:00pm-6:00pm; Saturday 9:00am-10:30am

Practice Expectations:

Four workouts per week is recommended, including Saturday’s.

Junior 1

Coach: Keith Ryan

Swimmers in this group must be able to legally complete 100 yards of freestyle and 50 yards of butterfly, backstroke, and breaststroke on their own.  The focus of the group is to develop a training base, while improving stroke technique for all four strokes.  Junior 1 group swimmers prepare to advance to the Junior II Group with Coach Kelly.

Competition Expectations:

J1 swimmers compete in one (1) White/Red/Blue meet per month and swim 50’s, 100’s, and 200’s of different strokes.

Practice Schedule:

Mon-Thursday 4:30pm-5:45pm; Saturday (when scheduled) 9:00-10:30am

Practice Expectations:

Encouraged to attend three (3) workouts per week or more.

Gold

Coach: Mike Nichols

Swimmers focus on developing in the fundamental areas of swimming.  Development of all four strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle) legally and applying common swimming terminology is an immediate focus as they prepare to advance to J1 or J2.  Gold swimmers are also recommended to participate in consistent monthly competition.

Competition Expectations:

Gold swimmers compete in one (1) White/Red/Blue meet per month and swim 25's, 50’s and/or 100’s of all different strokes

Practice Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-5:30pm

Practice Expectations:
Encouraged to attend 2-3 workouts per week

Silver

Coach: Annie Warzecha

The Silver group is CMAC's youngest training group.  Swimmers focus on developing in the fundamental areas of swimming.  Development of all four strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle) legally and applying common swimming terminology is an immediate focus as they prepare to advance to the Gold group.  Silver swimmers are also introduced to monthly competition.

Competition Expectations:

Silver swimmers compete in one (1) White/Red/Blue meet per month and swim 25's, 50’s and/or 100’s of all different strokes

Practice Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 4:00pm-5:15pm

Practice Expectations:
Encouraged to attend 2-3 workouts per week

Water Polo SWIM Conditioning

This group is for CMAC water polo players ONLY ages 11-14.  Workout is 30 minutes twice a week with emphasis on becoming a faster water polo player. Must be registered with USA Swim and CMAC Water Polo.

Competition Expectations:

Water polo SWIM group members have the option to compete in meets.

Tuesday, Thursday 6:00-6:30pm
