Senior Stingrays - competitive and non-competitive
Senior Stingray swimmers are those swimmers strong enough to train in the large lap pool. They train at least one hour per week and up to 8 or more hours per week depending on personal goals. They are both competitive and non-competitive swimmers who focus on proper stroke and breathing technique, turning at the wall, diving off the starting blocks, conditioning and event management.
The goal for a Senior Stingray swimmer is to attain higher performance in swimming through proper stroke technique, strength and conditioning. Should a swimmer wish to compete their performance can be measured through the increased speed/reduced time in various events attained in successive swim meets throughout the season.
