Summer Camp 2021

The Canadian Dolphin Swim Club is offering four 3-day camps for swimmers interested in having a taste of what our Swim Club is like. Our camps will be geared towards swimmers aged 6 to 11.

All prospective campers must be assessed before registering for the camp. Every camper must be able to swim at least 20m front crawl and 20m back crawl unassisted. This is a safety requirement as COVID-19 protocols do not allow our coaches to be in the pool with the swimmers.

Please email [email protected] to schedule an assessment.

All sessions will be held at the Vancouver Aquatic Center, 1050 Beach Avenue, Vancouver. Please meet at the east entrance of the building (across from the east parking lot).

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time and please WEAR A MASK.

Swimsuit, Goggles, CDSC cap and t-shirt (both included in the cost of the first week registered for), Kickboard (a CDSC kickboard is available for purchase at the cost of an additional $27.00 including tax).

COVID-19 and other Safety Protocols:

  • Please complete the Health Survey at this Link each day your child is coming to swim, at least 20 min before arriving at the pool.
  • Due to COVID-19 protocols, a camper may not be allowed to join a session if they are not at the door 15 minutes before their session starts.
  • Changerooms are off limits except for special circumstances. Campers will arrive and leave with their swimsuits on.
  • Campers must arrive with a face mask on and put the face mask back on immediately upon leaving the water.
  • All campers must sanitize their hands before entering the building.
  • No shoes are allowed on deck - all shoes must be carried after entering the pool doors and at NO TIME should swimmers be wearing shoes while on deck.  This is for swimmer safety reasons and is a policy of the Vancouver Aquatic Centre (VAC).
  • Campers must be respectful towards and obey Lifeguard instructions at all times while inside the VAC.
  • When dropping off and picking up your camper, PLEASE do not wait by the fence – have the camper go to your car in the parking lot OR, park the vehicle and go to the fence (with your mask on) to meet them upon exiting the building.  ALL parents are required to make sure to pick their swimmers up at the designated time and swimmers WILL NOT be allowed to wait in the building before or after their session.
  • Parents are not currently allowed into the building.
