Equipment Exchange Program

EQUIPMENT EXCHANGE PROGRAM

The swim club has a selection of used equipment available.  Swimmers in need of this equipment can obtain the used equipment from either the Head Coach or the Assistant Head Coach.

The process is simple.  Simply exchange their usable equipment for the appropriate size and a non-perishable food item or two (the club will donate to the food bank).  Swimmers wishing to obtain used equipment without a serviceable trade-in can still do so.  We charge a small fee (which will be used to buy small perishables for the swimmers and coaches, such as candy for the swimmers and dry erase markers for the coaches or some more tennis balls for training etc.) plus the food bank donation.

We encourage all swimmers to donate their good used equipment that they have outgrown or don’t use anymore.  This is a great green program helping to reduce and reuse.

We have always had a lost-&-found.  All items left in the lost-&-found lost will, after a couple of weeks will be added to our inventory of used equipment.  At that point swimmers will have to purchase their equipment back unless it has their name clearly marked (in which case it probably won’t make it to the lost and found).

Our supply of used equipment is limited, so it is first come first served.  In order to determine if we have the appropriate size the swimmer will have to rummage.  Swimmers will only be able to obtain used equipment that is used by their training group.  For example, we will not sell hand paddles to a swimmer in Blue.
