Hyack Goal For 2019 is $25,000

Welcome Hyack Parents to Swim-A-Thon 2019!!

On behalf of the board and coaching staff we are excited to announce our Swim-A-Thon campaign for this year.  Our annual SAT will take place on May 4th and we encourage you to come out and take part and help us make this the most successful one to date.

Our Swim-A-Thon will involve all Hyack swimmers, all levels and groups, and it will be held on May 4. Time & location will be announced later.  Our goal is to raise $25,000 this year.  The money we raise goes directly into the travel fund and is used by all swimmers in the club.  With more resources and more travel funds available, we are able to help more families travel and compete away from home.  This is extremely beneficial to the kids to gain experience outside of the lower mainland.  It helps the athletes not only learn how to compete outside of what’s comfortable to them, but builds relationships and fosters independence.

We encourage the parents to go online and assist your swimmer with the registration. This year the family affidavit is part of the online swimmer registration.

Swimming Canada has rules around eligibility for receipts.  Under no circumstance is a Parent/Legal Guardian or Parent’s company eligible for a charitable tax receipt.

Our club will be collecting money using Swim Canada’s online fundraising program.  This allows us to raise money quickly and easily all from just a few clicks from our computers.

Please go to our club link at  and register your swimmer and start spreading the word to family, friends, business colleagues, social contacts and those that support the sport of swimming in our community, province and Canada.

Your fundraising goal should be equal to your swimmer’s monthly fees.

Any trouble shooting please refer to the FAQ document that is also attached or email your fundraising co-ordinator Niki Jacques at  If you encounter any technical problems you can contact RaiseAThon at
