Head Coach- Josh Gette

Hi Dolphin swimmers and parents! I am very excited to be returning to the Dolphins for my 4th year as coach and 14th year swimming with the club. In that time I have swam at a competitive level, which has allowed me to gain technique focused swimming experience, which I hope to use to help swimmers excel and reach their absolute potential this year. I have also been involved in aquatics through lifeguarding and swim lesson instruction, which I have done for the past 5 years. My passion for sport also has me involved with Lacrosse (Olds Mavericks) and Hockey (Mountainview Colts), keeping me busy during the swimming offseason! I am really looking forward to building upon the swimming successes of last year and having an even better season in 2019 with our excellent group of assistant coaches and swimmers!

Assistant Coach- Victoria Wagstaff

Hello I’m Victoria Wagstaff and I am excited to be returning as an assistant coach for my third season with the dolphins! I have been involved with swimming my whole life as I swam for 12 years with the Olds Rapids swim club. Alongside competitive swimming I have enjoyed being a lifeguard and teaching swimming lessons for over 4 years, as well as many other sports like hockey and running. I am currently attending the University of Alberta, having completed my third year of my honours neuroscience degree. I’m really looking forward to another summer of hard work, improvement and fun this season!

Assistant Coach- Faith Gette

Hello! My name is Faith Gette, and I am excited to be returning to the club for my 14th season, with this being my third year of having the role of an assistant coach. I have been involved in the aquatic world from a young age, and have been able to experience success at the ASSA Provincials and Alberta Summer Games. In addition, I also work as a lifeguard and instructor at the Innisfail Aquatic Center, and find myself spending much of my summer at the pool! I will be entering the Dolphins 2019 season after spending the winter studying at the University of Calgary, working towards a biological science degree in cellular biology, as well as playing hockey with the Cochrane Chaos Junior Female Hockey team. I am looking forward to coaching with the Innisfail Dolphins, and I have high hopes for this season!
