With over 57 clubs and 6800+ club swimmers in British Columbia, Club Swimming is a well-established and successful sport in this province. It is also part of a strong national network of close to 500 clubs under our national sport organization, Swimming Canada. Whether your young athlete is looking for a sport for personal development and fun or looking for a competitive sport they can grow into, club swimming is a great choice!

KCS Swimming Success Story 2016-17

  • Hosted BC AAA long course championships and BC High School Championships.
  • 2016 Canadian Senior Nationals – best showing with all five swimmers making second swims, placing 15th overall, setting 6 new Club records.
  • 14 swimmers attended the 2016 Canadian Age Group Championships winning 10 medals & finishing15th of 149 teams; setting 7 new Club records.
  • 2 swimmers attended the 2017 Speedo Can-Am Para-swimming Championships winning 6 medals and setting a new Canadian record. Coach Brad recognized for a Speedo Coaching Achievement award.
  • 8 swimmers competed at the 2017 Canadian World Swimming Trials.
  • 2017 Western Canadian Swimming Championships - 10 of 14 swimmers made finals, placed 6th of 61 teams, winning 7 medals.
  • Other performances include swimmers selected to the Canadian National Junior ID Team, Canadian Junior National Team, BC Junior and Senior teams, BC Prospects Camp, Okanagan Regional Development Squad, and the Special Olympics Canada Games Team.
