Gabrielle Dagasso ~ Thompson Rivers University Fall 2016
Gabrielle chose to continue her swimming with Coach Brad Dalke while attending Thompson Rivers University. Gabby is pursuing a science degree and will swim in the CIS.

 

 

Megan Dalke ~ University of British Columbia Fall 2016
Megan accepted an athletic scholarship to swim for the UBC Thunderbirds in Vancouver. She is hoping to study business while pursuing her dreams in the pool with this CIS powerhouse. BIO

 

 

Colin Gilbert ~ University of Denver Fall 2016
Colin, Kamloops' 2014 Male Athlete of the Year, accepted an athletic scholarship to swim for the powerhouse Summit League champions, University of Denver Pioneers. Colin will be studying business at this NCAA Division 1 private university located in Denver, Colorado.  BIO

 

Makena Sutherland ~ New Mexico State University Fall 2016
Makena chose to accept an athletic scholarship to swim for New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. The NCAA Div 1, Aggies swim in the Western Athletic Conference. Makena is pursuing her interests in Engineering. BIO
 

 

Kieran Waterous ~ University of Waterloo Fall 2016
Kieran has chosen to continue his swimming while pursuing an engineering degree at University of Waterloo. He was the recipient of numerous academic scholarships and will begin swimming for the Warriors beginning fall of 2016. BIO
 

 

Greg Petersen ~ Thompson Rivers University Fall 2015
A former Kamloops Classics breaststroker, Greg returned to swimming after a three year hiatus from the competitive pool. Greg chased new challenges in the pool while finishing his computer sciences degree at Thompson Rivers University during the 2015/16 season. 

 


Taylor Carmichael ~ Thompson Rivers University Fall 2015
Developed by both Kamloops Classic Swimming and Merritt Otters Summer Swim Club, Taylor has chosen to continue her swimming career with Wolfpack swimming while attending Thompson Rivers University to pursue a science degree beginning the 2015/16 season.  



Meaghan Frenks ~ Simon Fraser University Fall 2014
A graduate of South Kamloops Secondary, Meaghan was recruited on athletic scholarship by the sole Canadian member of the NCAA, Division II, Simon Fraser University in 2014. Meaghan is pursuing a degree in education Team Bio  UPDATE

 


Jagdeesh Uppal ~ Thompson Rivers University Fall 2014
Staying close to home. Jagdeesh was the first signed recruit of the newly created TRU Wolfpack Swimming in Kamloops and will be pursuing a science degree. 2014-15 will be the team's first season competing in the CIS.  UPDATE


Dylana Milobar ~ California State University at Bakersfield Fall 2013
A graduate of Valleyview Secondary, Dylana was recruited on athletic scholarship the NCAA Div 1 Cal State University at Bakersfield and competes for the Roadrunners in the Western Athletic Conference. She was named 2016 WAC Champion in the 200 Breast as well as Academic All-Scholar.  Dylana is studying communications. Bio  UPDATE

 


Cynthia Pfeiffer ~ Acadia University Fall 2012

This former Kamloops Classics swimmer, also developed by the Revelstoke Aquaducks, was recruited by Acadia University in Nova Scotia in 2012 after a year at University of Calgary. Bio   UPDATE

 

Mychael (MJ) Sorba ~ University of Victoria Fall 2009

A graduate of NorKam Secondary, MJ chose to attend the University of Victoria in 2009, where he swam for the UVic Vikes. UVIC Bio



 

Davis Wuolle ~ University of British Columbia Fall 2008
Davis swam for the UBC Thunderbirds in 2008-2010. During his time at UBC he trained under well-known breaststroke coach Jozef Nagy, alongside Olympians Annamay Pierse, Martha McCabe and Brent Hayden. Davis is also a co-founder of www.swimswam.com.


Gia Bogetti ~ Simon Fraser University Fall 2007
Gia was recruited by Simon Fraser University Clan in 2007. A repeat NAIA All-American and two-time National Champion, Gia also swam on two NAIA record-breaking relays in her first and final year.

Erin Gammel ~ University of Calgary Fall 2002
Erin was awarded an athletic scholarship to the University of Calgary Dinos in 2002. In 2003-2004 and 2006-2007 she was awarded CIS Female Swimmer of the Year honours.

Caitlin Meredith ~ University of British Columbia Fall 2002
Caitlin was recruited by the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds in 2002.She was awarded an athletic scholarship and was named CIS Rookie of the Year in 2002-2003 and All-Canadian in 2003-3004.


 

Janice Berry ~ University of North Dakota Fall 2002
This former Kamloops Classics swimmer was recruited by the University of North Dakota "Fighting Sioux" in 2002 and was named an NCAA Division II All-American. Janice graduated with a BPE degree in Facility Management.

Katherine Owens ~ University of Hawaii Fall 1992
Katherine began her swimming career with Kamloops Classic Swimming. She was a finalist at the 1992 Winter Nationals, and was awarded a swim scholarship to the Division I, University of Hawaii.
