DONATIONS

DONATIONS

We are very grateful to the generous companies or private donors who would like to make a cash contribution to the club. As we are not a registered charitable organization, we are not able to issue tax receipts. It is possible to make a donation to Kisu and receive a tax receipt through our membership with the National Sports Trust Fund and Swim Canada.

National Sports Trust Fund – Kisu AccessAbility

Kisu has registered its AccessAbility program with the National Sports Trust Fund. Donors can make contributions to this fund to support our paraswimming program and to provide financial assistance to swimmers from low-income families. The NSTF will issue a charitable receipt for your contribution.

Albatross Megaswim

Each year, our swimmers collect donations and pledges for a distance swim fundraisers. Through this annual activity, companies or private donors can sponsor a swimmer or donate to the general club. The event is held each Spring.

Fundraising

Kisu does not require fundraising by swimmers with the exception of participating in the Albatross Megaswim. Occasionally, we will organize fundraising activities to offset costs.

Athlete Funding

There are a number of organizations that help kids participate in program like ours by covering the costs of equipment, registration and/or transportation. For more information about funding available, visit these organizations.
