Coaches Reports
There is a tree that grows in Japan that is truly unique. It is called the Asunaro tree. This tree is planted as a seedling under the ground and must be carefully watered every day without fail otherwise it will die. However, it remains under the ground, out of sight, for 5 full years. After this time it bursts forth from the soil and grows up to 120 feet and with a huge girth to reach its potential within the 6th year of its planting. The gardener must patiently attend to its watering every day for 5 years before the results of tremendous devotion, commitment and trust can be seen. Translated, asunaro means: Tomorrow I will be something.

What skills are you carefully nurturing each day so that they will burst forth when it really matters?

CONGRATULATIONS first time Provincial qualifier Jack Haycock.

LAC has just two more meets to host to finish up the 2014/15 season.  The Swim Ontario Summer Festival will be held on June 27 and 28 and our outdoor season closer, the Dr. Paul Hauch Invitational, is on July 10 to 12. You can sign up now for senior official positions at the Swim Ontario Summer Festival using your OSOA accounts. If you are not yet qualified, but plan to be qualified before the meet, please let Greg Lewis, the Meet Referee, know this by saying so in the comments when you register on-line using your OSOA account.

The on-line clinics are still available for those who want to learn a new job and I am willing to teach a live clinic if you can scare up a few people to attend with you. As always, each clinic that you take for the first time is worth a session credit.

If you have any questions please contact me, Mark Lukings L.A.C. Co-Club Officials Chair
