Coaches Reports
…SO SHE DID IT.
Somebody said that it couldn’t be done
But she, with a chuckle, replied:
That “maybe it couldn’t” but she’d be the one
Who wouldn’t say no ‘til she tried.

So she buckled right in, with a trace of a grin.
On her face, if she worried she hid it.
She started to sing as she tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and she did it.

Somebody scoffed, “Oh, you’ll never do that;
Because no one we know’s ever done it.”
But she took off her coat, and she took off her hat,
And the next thing you know, she’d begun it.

With the lift of her chin, and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quitting,
She started to sing as she tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and she did it.

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure.
There are thousands to point at you all one by one,
To the dangers that wait to assail you.

But just buckle in, with a confident grin,
Then put on your boots and go to it.
Just sing to yourself as you tackle the thing
That they say can’t be done, and YOU’LL DO IT.

IT’S OFFICIAL!

I was very pleased to see a number of LAC officials helping out at WOSA LC Champs over at WSRC on the weekend!  Way to pitch in and help out folks!

LAC has just two more meets to host to finish up the 2014/15 season. The Swim Ontario Summer Festival will be held on June 27 and 28 and our outdoor season closer, the Dr. Paul Hauch Invitational, is on July 10 to 12. You can sign up now for senior official positions at the Swim Ontario Summer Festival using your OSOA accounts. If you are not yet qualified, but plan to be qualified before the meet, please let Greg Lewis, the Meet Referee, know this by saying so in the comments when you register on-line using your OSOA account.

At the end of June, the online clinics will be shut down until at least next season so if you want to take advantage of this tool and add a session credit or two, make sure you get it done before July.  The on-line clinics ARE still available through June for those who want to learn a new job. As always, each clinic that you take for the first time is worth a session credit.
