Coaches Report

Welcome back everyone from a well-earned break - hopefully you were all able to enjoy some time relaxing and re-charging your batteries for the second half of the swim year, which is significantly shorter than the first half. This year our fall/winter season was 26 weeks in duration, while our spring/summer season will only be 16 weeks in length for most of you. So this is simply a reminder to get right back into your good training habits, be purposeful and precise and positive in your daily practices, because before you know it the end of the season will be right in front of you, and you'll want to be able to tell yourself that you did everything possible to ensure the best chance for some great performances at your season-ending meet.

CONGRATULATIONS to our 16 swimmers who did simply a great job at our Florida training camp in Boca Raton from March 10-18. The positivity, consistency and accountability from the entire group was some of the best we have seen in a training camp setting, and you have all established a great foundation for some good swimming from here on. Many, many sincere thanks to our team manager/chaperone Jen Williams and to Mariana Estabrooks for her assistance with travel documents.  Belated CONGRATULATIONS to Sam Cormier, first time all-time top 10 LAC performer in the 13-14 boys 50FR at Provincials in Nepean.
