AIR QUALITY AT CGAC

The air quality issues of late at CGAC have been noted and brought to the attention of Aquatic Services. The following statement has been forwarded to us:

“The mechanical systems are being monitored by our operations and control companies to determine any issues or concerns. Our operation staff is working with them to address the problem.”

The coaches are hopeful that there will be a speedy and satisfactory resolution to this issue.

MINOR OFFICIALS

Thank you to everyone who has signed up for the Nothers Invitational. Most spots for Saturday and Sunday are filled with the following exceptions:

Saturday AM - still need 3 timers

Saturday afternoon - still need 4 strokes and turns

We still need more help for Friday so if you can make it out, it would be greatly appreciated:

Friday distance - still need 15 timers

50's 12 & under - still need 2 timers and 4 strokes and turns

50's 13 & over - still need 10 timers and 2 strokes and turns

If you have not heard a response from Stacey, that means you are in all sessions as requested. You can refer to your initial confirmation e-mail for all sessions that you are working.

We are currently under staffed for Strokes and Turns for the upcoming Nother's Meet.  For each session, we require a minimum of 12 people who are Stroke and Turn qualified in order to run the session. As of now, we only have around 16 people in the entire club who are Stroke and Turn Qualified.    If anyone is interested in taking the Stroke and Turn online clinic before the upcoming meet, Please email Stacey at lacofficials@yahoo.ca to obtain the password and instructions on how to take the clinic online.

Thank you

Stacey Richardson

NOTHER’S FOOD LIST

Each family is required to contribute a food item as specified on the club food list.  Families not providing the requested food item will be billed for the allotted amount plus an administrative fee of $5.00 on their Travel Account.  The food contribution is required whether or not your swimmer is participating in the meet.

When a family drops off their food contribution, there is a list to check your name; it is the responsibility of the family to ensure the name is checked off.

See further details on club policies under the Parent info tab when signed-in to the website.
