LSC Summer Programming Overview
Lakeshore Swim Club is pleased to offer two swimming programs this summer:
LSC Technical Summer Club
$75/week for LSC members and $100/week for outside athletes
LSC Technical Summer Club is an extremely focused learning opportunity for swimmers in our club, but will be open to swimmers from outside LSC as well. The focus of this program is learning new skills for next season. We are now offering this program to ALL members of the competitive club, and registration is now open.
If your swimmer is looking to improve their swimming skills this summer, this is the program for you! This is not a "maintenance" or "fitness" swim. The focus is 100% on improving technical ability, breakouts, finishes, etc. Swimmers will get feedback after every length.
Coach Eric has personally developed the plans for these sessions. Coach Matthew will be running the program in July, and Coach Eric will be running it through most of August. Coaching ratios will be kept at or below 1:8. Should more than 8 swimmers register, extra coaches will be added to ensure that each athlete gets the feedback required.
Technical Summer club meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at High Park Outdoor Pool and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sunnyside Outdoor Pool.

We will be offering lane swims to all registered (new and returning) Comp 1 and above for swimmers who simply want to stay fit over the summer. Through July these workouts will run at Keele from 3 to 5 PM. The schedule is in the works for August, and will run until the 25th of August.
This is not going to be a focused learning session. Some of these workouts will be uncoached. Coach Eric will be on deck for them but will be training our athletes who are attending Junior Nationals at the end of July. Coach Matthew will be on deck for many of the afternoon workouts in July.
Coach Eric does not recommend maintenance swimming for Comp 3 and Comp 2 swimmers. The workout will not be beneficial for them. Instead, it is recommended that swimmers in these groups stay active this summer through other activities, or enroll in the Summer Club program to improve their technical skills.
Registration will be posted shortly.
