Novice/Regional League

2022-23 NOVICE (REGIONAL LEAGUE) PROGRAM

Registration for 2022-2023 season now open! Register HERE

The Novice/regional league program runs from late September to the end of April/early May (to be confirmed pending year-end water show date and final competition schedule).

Impacts from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic

While GO Capital plans to offer a full season of artistic swimming culminating in competitions, the ability to do so is dependent on many factors including the health of the athletes and coaches, the availability of facilities and the restrictions put in place by health officials.  In the event of broad facility closures, practices will initially move to an online model, while an assessment is made as to the remainder of the season. In the event of extended periods of pool closure, a fee rebate will be made available, proportionate to the club’s reduced costs.

Programs for 2022-2023 season

This season, we will be offering three age-based novice/regional league programs:

- Regional League 12 and Under;

- Regional League 13-15; and

- Regional League JR (16+)

Regional League swimmers should be comfortable and able to swim unassisted in deep water.

During the 2022-2023 season, athletes compete as the age they will be on December 31, 2023 (2023 competitive season):
