Sharks Introductory Program
The introductory program consists of 2 groups: NIPPERS and CADETS. These groups are designed to introduce swimmers to the basic skills required to progress into the Prince Albert Sharks competitive swim team. Participants in this program should be 6 years of age or older.
This group is for swimmers around level 4 Red Cross who can kick and float comfortably on their front and back, and are confident in all depths of water at the frank J Dunn Pool. This group swims 1x40 minute lesson per week; Group 1: Mondays; Group 2: Thursdays

This group swims three times per week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The focus of the Cadets is to have fun while learning new swimming skills through drills, games and group activities. Swimmers are monitored regularly and are assessed on an individual basis. When the coach feels the swimmer is ready, they move from this group into the first entry level of the competitive swim program. Swimmers in the Cadets group will be eligible to enter "Mini Meets" throughout the season - these are a fun way to introduce swimmers to racing without any pressure. These events could be held in Prince Albert, Saskatoon and North Battleford.
