Learn to Train

The Learn to Train group is for swimmers age 11-14 with the emphasis being placed on stroke development, endurance and exposure to the sport of swimming. Swimmers will be introduced to all four strokes, as well as learning competitive skills such as flip turns, and dives. Swimmers practice 3 times per week with the goal of preparing for a move into the Gold, Silver, or Steel groups and participating in local and regional swim meets.

Swimmers entering this group must be able to swim a minimum of 25m Freestyle and Backstroke.

The Learn to Train program offers pro-rated (training fees only) rolling registration for new swimmers any time during the swim season. Please contact assessment@rowswimming.ca to arrange an assessment and join today.
