Description:

The Surrey Knights Swim Club has been an integral part of our community since 1974. The club is a community based non-profit organization which is run by a volunteer board of directors and professionally coached.

The Surrey Knights are proud of their accomplishments and the successes of their participants in and out of the pool. The club's vision is to "Provide opportunities to achieve excellence in life through swimming" and the motto is "Quest for Excellence".

Surrey Knights swimmers have broken provincial and national records, and have represented Canada on the following national teams:

  • 2015 Para-Pan American Games, Toronto, Canada

  • 2015 IPC World Championships, Glasgow, Scotland

  • 2014 Pan-Pacific Championships

  • 2012 Paralympics, London, England

  • 2005 World Aquatic Championships, Montreal, Canada

  • 2004 Olympic Games, Athens, Greece

  • 2003 World Aquatic Championships, Barcelona, Spain

  • 2002 Youth Olympic Festival, Sydney, Australia

  • 2001 Deaflympic Games, Rome, Italy

  • 2000 Paralympic Games, Sydney, Australia

Entry Requirements:     

4-7 year olds 25m

7-10 year olds 50m frontcrawl/backstroke

11&Over 50m frontcrawl/backstroke/breaststroke

Masters (18&O) 50m frontcrawl

Club Requirements:

Each member is responsible for a preset amount of Volunteer points and Fundraising points for their swimmer, as well as fundraising dollars for the club.

Age:

Minimum 4 Years of Age, No Maximum Age

Genders:

Female and Male

Special Needs:

Surrey Knights accept Able Bodied and Disabled Swimmers who have Meet the Entry Requirements

Introduction to Competitive Swimming
Regional Level Programs
Provincial Level Programs
National Level Programs

Season:

Year Round (September - June/July)

Summer Camp Program - July/August

 

 

Registration:

All new swimmers must complete a New Swimmer Assessment.  Please email registrar@surreyknights.com to set one up.

All new swimmers - who are not already enrolled in a competitive swimming program and who have not yet been assessed by one of our coaches.
