Description (Designed for ages 8 to 12)
The last level in the PASS system, these swimmers are working on refining the basic legal strokes and turns they have learned in the silver group.  This group is at the FUNdamental/Learning to Train Stage in the Long Term Athlete Development model (LTAD).  These swimmers are aiming to reach the gold standard to qualify and attend LMR competitions.   These swimmers will still be competing at PASS meets and once qualified LMR meets.  8 and under LMR swimmers will also remain in this group while competing at LMR competitions until all parents, coaches, and the swimmer feel they are ready to move into the next group.
