Age Group 1
In the Age Group 1 program, the aim is to compete at a Provincial and National level, with Regional meets being used as training and qualifying competitions. This group has between six and seven pool sessions, alongside five dry land sessions. In total, they have 12.00 to 13.50 hours of training time. The dry land sessions will include general fitness and physical literacy exercises, with some swim-specific exercises. The goals of this group are technical and race strategy development, as well as preparation for the Senior levels. Members of this group may be asked to assist in the running of younger groups in order to foster community and education.

- Learn to Train (M11-12)
- Train to Train (F11-13/M12-13)
Training: 6-7 Pool sessions (9.50 to 11.00 hours), 5 Dry Land sessions (2.50 hours)
Requirements: The members of this group will be selected at the discretion of the Head Coach and Lead Coach, with emphasis on the Age Range and Competition Experience. (Leeway: Developing 14-year-olds)
