In the Senior 1 group, the aim is to perform at National and higher level meets while using Provincial and lower level meets as training and qualifying competitions. This group has nine pool sessions, alongside five dry land sessions. In total, they have 18.00 hours of training time. The dry land sessions will include cross-training and swim-specific exercises to help swimmers reach their full potential. The goals of this group are high-performance, and every aspect of training will have that emphasis, as well as preparing for competition at a varsity level. Members of this group may be asked to assist in the running of younger groups in order to foster community and education.
