Session 2: 9-Jan to 7-Apr
Session 3: 9-Apr to 30-Jun
For full schedule see Program Info | Training-Pool Schedule
Tuesday and Thursday practices will focus more on technique development/refinement while Monday and Saturday practices will still have a technical focus but will be geared more towards conditioning.
Practices may include kick, drills, long- and mid-distance sets, and sprinting. Interested swimmers must be able to swim at least 400 meters with basic freestyle technique. Monday and Saturday practices will include aerobic/endurance sets to work on fitness. Tuesday and Thursday practices are strictly technique-based and will include thorough stroke correction and drill work (it is strongly suggested that you choose either Tuesday or Thursday as one of your weekly practices if at all possible, as stroke correction and technique work benefit every kind of swimmer)
Fees for Masters swimming are paid once per session, depending on the number of practices the swimmer would like to attend per week.*
See Program | Swim Fees
Registration is done online one to two weeks before each session.
*Once per year each Masters swimmer must pay a $70.00 swim Ontario registration fee. (paid as part of the online registration)
