Is The Claremont Club (TCC) Swim Team a Top 10 Swim Program in Southern California? Yes – The team's history includes Olympic Trial athletes, U.S.A. National Junior Team Members, National and Junior National swimmers, Southern California Age Group Record holders, CIF champions, High School All-Americans, and U.S.A. Swimming Top 10 Nationally Ranked swimmers.

When are swim tryouts? Monday through Thursday from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

What ages can join? 5 years to 18 years

Do I need to know how to swim? Yes, you must be able to swim freestyle with side breathing and backstroke for at least 25 yards.

When are swim practices? Depending on age and ability level, practices are held from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m., 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. or 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Do I have to attend all swim practices? No, however, we encourage that you attend at least 3 practices per week.

Is it fun? Yes!! In addition to becoming physically fit and making friends, the swim team offers several social events throughout the year (pancake breakfast, summer party, swim team banquet, etc…)

Will I be attending competitions? Yes, we encourage participation in swim meets. Each swimmer is placed in an appropriate level of competition and swim meets occur approximately once a month (can vary depending on ability level).

What are the fees? $120.00 per month ($105.00 for club members), $64.00 annual U.S.A. Swimming Registration, $75.00 annual escrow fee and a $300.00 annual booster fee.
