Marilyn Carey - Gray

I have been drawn to the water since I could speak. I love swimming, surfing, body surfing, SUPing, and just about anything involving a body of water. I learned to swim at the original Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool, and shortly after that I joined the Seal Beach Swim Club at McGaugh. I competed for Los Alamitos High School, where I was the varsity captain my junior and senior years. I continued my swimming career as a student athlete at UC Davis; I swam distance freestyle for the Women's NCAA DI team, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics and a Minor in Communications in the summer of 2015.
I began coaching in the summer of 2011 at the Long Beach Yacht Club, and have since worked with Rocket Fish, and Team Davis (Special Olympic team). Thank you for welcoming me into the Viking family!
