Payment & Cost
All levels cost the same. Lessons are based on $18 per class and are paid on a monthly basis. An average month looks like this:
1 class per week $72/month
2 classes per week $144/month
When do not teach on major holidays and we do not charge for those days. If your month has an extra day in it, we increase tuition by $18 per class.
When you register you will start an account with Splash Jax through our website. Your credit card will be billed on your sign up date and at the 1st of every month. There is an annual registration fee of $25 per family. Your cost will be pro-rated if you start mid month. You can add a class at any time and the system will bill you accordingly. You can register yourself online, or we can register for you by calling our office.
All swimmers who are not potty trained are required to wear a swim diaper. You can use disposable diapers or cloth swim diapers with a plastic cover.
Please stay at the pool with your child in your sight during their swim lesson. Be sure to supervise siblings during this time as well. Our obstacle course on the lawn attracts little kids as they are waiting for lessons, however this is an area designed only for our swim team. We provide a "sidewalk chalk" fence with chalk, a kiddie pool with play balls, and flash cards for siblings to entertain themselves with during lessons.
We have parking along the front of our wooden fence and in our back yard on the lawn. Please respect our neighbors and not block their driveways while visiting Splash Jax.
We ask that you give us 30 days notice in writing when you know you need to be done with your swim class. You will be billed for classes through this date. We keep discontinue notes at the pool for you to fill out and turn in to us. You can also email us at email@example.com. If you are discontinuing mid month, we will stop payment on your credit card at the end of your last full month, and you will be asked to pay by check for the remaining pro rated amount. You can turn in checks to your instructor.
Swimming outdoors in Florida means preparing to pause for the weather. We will not teach swim lessons if the lightning is within 10 miles of the pool or if is raining extremely hard or if the temp is below 65 degrees. If we cancel due to weather we always guarantee that we will give you a make up class that fits your schedule.
Vacation & Sick Day Cancellation
If your child misses class due to vacation or being sick, we will honor one make up class per child per month, in order to help keep them swimming. Please follow the make up policy to schedule a class.
Make Up Class Policy
All make up classes need to be scheduled. Instructors will not be able to accommodate make up classes on a walk in basis. Please email our coordinator Pam at firstname.lastname@example.org or call our office at 904-608-4775 to schedule your class. We offer most make up classes on Saturdays between 10am and 2pm. If you need a different time, please let us know, we will do our best to find a class time that works for you.
