Education: BS in Athletic Training, Metropolitan State University of Denver. MA in Public
Administration, Randall University, Moore, OK.
Certifications: BOC– Athletic Trainer; NSCA-Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist;
NASM – Corrective Exercise Specialist; American Heart Association- Basic Life Support;
Training & Experience: Nick returns to the Denver metro area after two years as the Athletic
Trainer/Strength and Conditioning Coach for Randall University. At Randall Nick established
the Athletic Training program, working with all of the athletes including men’s basketball
who won the NCCAA National Championship in 2018. Prior to Randall University, Nick was
the Head Athletic Trainer at Hinkley High School in Aurora and Assistant Athletic Trainer at
Ponderosa High School in Parker. While in college he spent 4 years as an Athletic Training
Intern with the Denver Nuggets and a summer interning with the Denver Broncos. In Nick’s
words – "My professional goal is simply to be the best coach that I can be. When I was
younger, I had a person that I looked up to tell me that every night when you go to bed you
should think of everything that you learned that day, if you could not come up with anything then
you failed that day. I feel that this has motivated me throughout the entirety of my life to learn
everything that I possibly can."
Focus: Nick uses his training and experience to aid athletes in their return to sport after injury, to
work on injury prevention, and ultimately enhance sports performance. Nick’s ultimate focus and goal is to help guide athletes to college scholarships
