The Colorado Springs Swim Team offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of the Colorado Springs Swim Team to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.

CSST provides four training groups. Each training group has specific age and ability requirements:
Silver Team -- designed for swimmers 5 years and older who are able to swim a length of the pool freestyle and backstroke "comfortably". This program is designed to introduce swimmers to the sport of swimming. Swimmers will learn all 4 competitive strokes, as well as proper starts and turns associated with each stroke. Meets are offered approximately once every 4-6 weeks. Swimmers are encouraged to participate in meets but are not required. Practices are held at Coronado High School, Doherty High School, Fountain/Ft. Carson High School, Palmer High School, Woodmen Hills Rec Center, and Peterson Air Force Base..
Gold Team -- competitive age group program for swimmers 8 years to 13 years who are proficient in all 4 strokes, turns and starts and meet the head age group coach's standards. Gold team practices 4-5 times a week. Swimmers are expected to attend practice a minimum of 3 days a week. Swimmers should swim in meets approximately once every 4-6 weeks. Practices are held at Colorado College, and occasionally at the Olympic Training Center.
Senior Team -- competitive program for swimmers 12 years and older who meet specific sets established by the head coach. Seniors are offered 5-9 practices per week. Swimmers should be attending a minimum of 5 practices. Practices are held at the Olympic Training Center and Colorado College.
Masters Team -- Our Masters Swim Team is a great opportunity for adult swimmers to further their achievements. Jamie Louie has been coaching with CSST for over 19 years. Masters is open to all levels MWF 5:30am-7:00am and SAT 6:30-8am at Colorado College. Try the first practice for free.
