Olympic Way White/Blue

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Blue 4:45-5:30pm / White 6:15-7:00pm

Requirements:

  • Swimmers must be able to complete 25 meters of freestyle and backstroke without stopping.

Objectives:

  • To be able to complete 25 meters of breaststroke legally.  
  • Be able to complete 50 meters of freestyle and backstroke legally
  • Have a basic understanding of competitive starts and turns.

Squad Info

  • This Squad is for swimmers of 10 & Under years old who have completed a tryout with a RAC Coaching Staff Member.
  • Swimmers may compete in USA Swimming meets.
  • There will be three 10-week sessions throughout the school year.
  • Swimmers attend practice two times per week
  • The mini-meet will be held on the last day of the session with a pizza party.
  • Practice duration is 45 minutes.
  • After concluding one session (10 weeks) of Olympic Way Blue, swimmers that meet ALL the objectives will be moved to Olympic Way Black. If ALL goals are not met, swimmers will do another Olympic Way Blue session to complete objectives not achieved.

Olympic Way Black

Tuesdays and Thursdays

5:30-6:15pm

Requirements:

  • Legally complete 25 meters of breaststroke.  
  • Be able to complete 50 meters of freestyle and backstroke legally
  • Have a basic understanding of competitive starts and turns.

Objectives:

  • To be able to demonstrate proper technical understanding of competitive backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.
  • To be able to complete 25 meters of butterfly legally.  
  • Be able to demonstrate basic competitive starts and turns.

Squad Info:

  • This Squad is for swimmers of 10 & Under years old, have completed a tryout with a RAC Coaching Staff Member.
