Pisces Community Service Projects

Pisces Project by Kunal Mehta

Hi Everyone,

My name is Kunal Mehta, a proud 8th grader at Madison Middle School and member of the Trumbull Pisces since 2014.
I have been regularly volunteering at St. Joseph's Senior Center in Trumbull helping manage recreation activities there every Monday
I'm also doing a community service project to help benefit the seniors at this center. For that, I need to collect small, non-expensive items that will be given to them as bingo prizes. Some suggested items are word search/crossword puzzle books, costume jewelry, toiletries (preferably only lotion, shampoo/conditioner and liquid/bar bath soap), and any other, gently used or new, dollar store type prizes like toys or bead necklaces.

You can drop these in a box at Hillcrest during practice
I have seen the fun they have playing games and winning small prizes. They love these things and will love them even more when they hear that their community cares and supports them. Please help this wonderful cause by donating. The joy your simple gifts will give the seniors is priceless.

Thank you,

Kuna

Pisces Project By Mishka Kapoor

Hello Trumbull Pisces

Next Sunday, on April 23rd, I am hosting an event called Kick 4 Kindness, for my community service project at Madison Middle School. Kick 4 Kindness is an event where kids have the opportunity to try to score goals with the First Selectman, Tim Herbst, as goalie. The money raised from this event is going to the Bens Bells Organization, which has a goal of intentional kindness.
The flyer has all the information about my event in it.  Kick 4 Kindness Flyer
Thank you for your time,
Mishka Kapoor

Pisces Project by Rohit Gunda

Hello Trumbull Pisces,

I am Rohit Gunda, I am in the 8th grade and in Madison's National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). We strive to help the community by volunteering and collecting things to donate. In this organization, each member must do a leadership project that demonstrates our attributes of service and leadership. For my leadership project, I am collecting nonperishable food items and canned food to donate to Trumbull Food pantry. I can't do it all by myself, so I am here to ask the Pisces family if everyone could donate nonperishable food items and canned food. I will be placing boxes at the pool from Tuesday April 4th, to Tuesday April 25th. We are a big team and we can show the community that we are the best, both in and out of the pool. Please donate to the cause and let's show the community what the Pisces can do!   Thank you - Rohit Gunda
