Hanna Bakke is a proud product of Arkansas Swimming. She grew up swimming for Coach Blair on the Arkansas Dolphins and quickly found herself ranked top 16 in the nation in the 50 and 100 breaststroke and being honored as an Arkansas Swimmer of the Year.
At 14, Hannah won Junior Nationals in the 100-meter breaststroke and joined Noel Strauss as the youngest Arkansan to qualify for the Olympic Trials. Other awards include: undefeated state champion in the 100 breaststroke, current AR state record holder in 100 breast, 8 time finalist at Big XIIs, University of North Texas record holder, 4 time Academic All-American and being voted Most Inspirational at the University of North Texas. However, the achievement she is most proud of is being voted Team Captain by her teammates.
She is currently the mother to one adorable K-9 , a nurse at the Arkansas Heart Hospital and enjoys traveling, cycling, and every moment she spends in the water.
