Facility Tasks for Volunteer Points

As Dayton Raiders, the DRAC is our HOME!  Any help in completing easy cleaning and maintenance tasks around the facility keeps our facility in tip top shape, connects our membership with the facility and saves the Dayton Raiders money!  The goal of this program is to have more and more Raiders vested in our facility so that our facility shines!

Enlist the help of your swimmers!  There are plenty of jobs for all!!!

 

  • The following is a list of available tasks/jobs around the Dayton Raider Aquatic Center.  Please note the frequency of each job.  Check the sign-up list and make sure someone hasn't completed your desired task in the time frame that is needed. 
  • There will be a form hanging on the bulletin board at DRAC with all tasks listed.  Once you complete a job, sign and date and indicate your completed task.  A facility member will check your work and initial the form.  
  • IMPORTANT!!!  You will still need to report your work to the volunteer point coordinator by filling out the Google form on the Volunteer Point Obligation page.  No points will be reported for you.
  • See the pictures below for the location of all supplies necessary to complete these facility tasks.

Vacuum can be located in the closet near Ken's workout room.

The closest should be unlocked at all times.

 

The window cleaning caddy can be found in the supply room behind the pool.

There are supplies for the windows that can be reached easily and a long pole to attach for the higher windows.

 

The general cleaning supply cart can also be found in the supply room behind the pool.  You will find supplies for cleaning mirrors, floors, bathrooms and trash cans. This cart will be supplied with trash bags and gloves. This cart can be wheeled around as you complete tasks.  Trash can be taken to the dumpster out back.

Cleaning towels for any heavy drying or cleaning can be found on the shelving in this room. Paper products, swiffer replacements, soap replacements and air freshener replacements can also be found on the shelves in this storage room.

 

Please place any used towels in this laundry basket next to the washer and dryer.

Facility Tasks for Volunteers

Outside Entrance: (25 pts) 3x per week

  • Wash both sets of doors and sills
  • Vacuum rubber entrance mat
  • Empty trash
  • Sweep debris from under overhang

Lobby: (25 pts) Daily

  • Vacuum lobby
  • Wipe down chairs and tables
  • Empty trash can in lobby (only if half or more full)

Lobby Windows (15 pts)

  • Clean lobby windows, sills and door to pool.

Offices and Conference Room: (25 pts) 1x per week

  • Replenish supplies in conference room bathroom
  • Clean conference room bathroom
  • Vacuum carpet in all office and conference room areas

Hall Bathroom: (25 pts) 1x per week

  • Replenish paper supplies, soap and air freshener as needed
  • Empty and wipe down bathroom trash cans
  • Clean mirrors and sink
  • Wipe down walls and dividers
  • Clean floors (wet swiffer)

Stretch Room & Rubber Room: (25 pts) 1x per week

  • Vacuum carpet in stretch room
  • Swiffer rubber floor
  • Empty and wipe down trash cans
  • Wash mirrors and door handles

Hall Area: (25 pts) 1x per week

  • Vacuum all hall carpet
  • Clean water fountain
  • Wipe down window sills and windows

Banquet Room: (25 pts) 2x per week

  • Vacuum carpet
  • Empty and wipe down trash cans (only if half or more full)

Pool Deck: (15 pts) 2x per week

  • Empty and wipe down trash cans (only if half or more full)
  • Pick up loose items on deck and put away

Windows:

  • Lobby windows, sills and door to poiol (25 pts) - 1x per week
  • Interior banquet room windows (25 pts) – every 2 weeks
  • Exterior banquet room windows (35 pts) – 1x per week
  • Interior conference room and office windows (25 pts) – every 2 weeks
  • Exterior conference room and office windows (35 pts) – 1x per week
  • Interior little pool room windows - floor level only (25 pts) – 1x per week
  • Exterior little pool room windows - floor level only (35 pts) – 1x per week
  • Interior main pool room windows - floor level only (25 pts) – 1x per week
  • Exterior main pool room windows - floor level only (35 pts) – 1x per week
