The U.S. Center for Safe Sport which oversees all sexual misconduct reports in all Olympic sports is requiring that we implement a mandatory Minor Abuse Prevention Policy to take effect on June 23, 2019.

Please see the below links to the MAAPP policy as well as additional educational tools and approved template documents, and a letter to the Membership for you to share with your club and/or post on your club website. Education and awareness is or goal, and we appreciate any and all support that you give to this process by facilitating this important communication to your membership.

What does this mean for your Adult Athlete Members and your club now?

• Athletes who are 18 currently or who will be 18 on or before June 23, need to take the Athlete Protection Program: Athlete Protection Training (usaswimming.org)
• Please notify your 18 and over athletes of this as soon as possible.
