Frequently Asked Questions

How can I register myself or my child for swim lessons?

Registration can be done in person, by phone, or online. First-time participants are required to register in person at our facility. Once you have set up an account with the City of Fort Lauderdale's WebTrac system, you will be able to register for lessons and other City of Fort Lauderdale programs online in the future by going to and entering your household ID and password. If you have already set up a household account but would prefer to register and pay by phone, you can do so by calling our Registration Office at (954) 828-4589.

I have set up a WebTrac account, but I don't know my username or password. What do I do?

As a default, your username should be your Household ID #, and the password should be your last name. This information can be found at the top right corner of your activity registration receipt. If you don't have access to your Household ID or you changed your password and have lost or forgotten it, you may contact the Registration Office at (954) 828-4589 to retrieve it.

How can I or my child be swim tested?

Swim tests are conducted at the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex, 501 Seabreeze Blvd. Fort Lauderdale, FL. Tests are available Monday-Wednesday at 4:00 and 4:45 p.m. Please call (954) 828-4580 or email to confirm availability.
