Coach Anna Rosen
Coach Anna was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her love for aquatics started at a very early age. First surfing and sailing as early as three years old and then joining the Fort Lauderdale Swim Team at age 8. Anna swam competitively until the start of her water polo career.
Coach Anna played 4 years of Varsity Water Polo at Westminster Academy where she lead as team Captain both her junior and senior year. Other accomplishments in Anna’s High School Career include Broward All County Water Polo, District and Regional Champions grades 10-12 and making it to the State Semi-Finals her Senior Year. Anna was one of the original members of the South Florida Women’s Water Polo Club Team. Coach Anna played Division I Varsity Water Polo at Marist College her freshmen year. Anna returned to South Florida for the remainder of her college career receiving a degree in Athletic Training from Nova Southeastern University.
Anna has over twelve years experience in the aquatics profession. She has served as lifeguard, swim instructor, coach and Aquatics Director during this time. Coach Anna first started coaching water polo in 2012 and has been coaching ever since.
Coach Scott Moore
Coach Moore brings many years of aquatic experience to our team. He was a member of the Nova High School’s Inaugural Water Polo Team. He continues his water polo career playing intramural club water polo at Florida State University. Coach Moore lead Westminster Academy in their Inaugural Water Polo season coaching both men and women in 1993. Coach Moore lead WA to 2 Water Polo State Championships place as runner up. Four of Coach Moore’s players went on to play collegiate water polo. Two of them playing at the Division I level. Coach Moore representing the South East Zone in two Olympic Training Centers. He also had the opportunity to coach the South East Zone in Junior Nationals, placing 2nd, and Senior Nationals, placing 6th.
After taking a break from coaching to be with his family, Coach Moore decided to come back to the water polo family in 2016.
