Kissimmee Swim Association Policy for High School Swimming

Kissimmee Swim Association strongly encourages swimmers to participate on their school teams.  We also understand that in order to participate on their school team they have to follow whatever attendance rules their school team sets forth.  Here is our recommended policy that we feel will provide maximum benefit to each swimmer and Kissimmee Swim Association.

Swimmers who are required to swim 5 days a week with their High School Team

  • With a letter or form signed by your High School Head Coach, we recommend you swim with Kissimmee Swim Association whenever possible. We would love for you to make a minimum of 2 practices a week if possible.
  • Price reduced to half off monthly dues until the end of the swimmers High School season. Email or form must be sent to Coach Jolena a week in advance to let her know.

  • Swimmers can continue to swim at meets with Kissimmee Swim Association.

Swimmers who are NOT required to swim with High School Team 5 days a week

  • With a letter or form signed by your High School Head Coach, we recommend you swim with Kissimmee Swim Association on the days you do not have to attend High School practice.  We would love for your swimmer to make a minimum of 2 practices a week if possible.
  • Price reduced to half off monthly dues until the end of the swimmers High School season. Email or form must be sent to Coach Jolena a week in advance to let her know.
  • Swimmers can continue to swim at meets with Kissimmee Swim Association.

*When High School Swimming Season ends, the Kissimmee Swim Association coaches expect to see you back at practice as often as possible. All swimmers must attend a minimum of 2 practices a week to attend swim meets with the Kissimmee Swim Association.

Please note that if a swimmer wishes to spend more time at Kissimmee Swim Association practices than what is prescribed that’s okay with us as long as you honor your High School Commitment. Kissimmee Swim Association coaches think that high school swimming instills a great camaraderie in the swimmers and is a very positive experience for our swimmers to participate in.

Thank you,

Coach Jolena
