Private One-on-One Swim Lessons All Spring & Summer

Longwood Aquatics is an Authorized Licensed Training Provider and follows the curriculum of the America Red Cross® (ARC).  The ARC is America's oldest, most experienced and most respected service provider for swim lessons.  All of our lesson instructors are certified ARC Instructors and have years of experience in teaching children of all ages and abilities.  We specialize and only offer affordable private one-on-one lessons for all ages.

 Children With Challenges was created through collaboration between USA Swimming® – USA Swimming Foundation – Starfish Aquatic Institute®    and The Aquatic Therapy Rehab Institute®.   Longwood Aquatics offers this lesson program for our disabled and special needs friends.

Our certified instructors work with children with the following challenges:

  • Physical/Orthopedic
  • Intellectual/Cognitive
  • Developmental Delay
  • Emotional/Behavioral
  • Learning and Processing
  • Sensory Challenges

UNFORTUNATELY WE WILL NOT BE OFFERING THIS SUMMER

Summer-Only Swim Team

This is a summer-only program for children 6 - 12 who have basic, but un-refined swim ability and may be interested in exploring competitive swimming.  During these practices our certified coaches work with swimmers on stroke development, starts and turns, and enjoy plenty of fun games.  We will schedule 1-2 low key, fun swim meets competing   against other summer-only teams.  At the end of summer, we host a   friendly "team only" cookout at the pool.

Practices are Tues & Thurs evenings from 7:00 - 8:00 pm and begin June 2nd. 

Once your child has advanced their skills, they may be interested in our USA Swimming™ year-round club team

Lyman Summer High School Prep Swim Program

This very affordable program is meant for incoming freshman and all HS students who want to prepare for the upcoming HS swim season.  Practices are Mon thru Thurs from 8am - 10am and will run for June & July.  Coaches will work with you on improving your strokes and endurance.  You must be able to swim at least one lap on your front and back.  Knowledge of basic swimming is needed.  Sign up today !!!
