Planet Swim Aquatics offers 4 training groups as part of our year-round swim program. Each training group has its own requeriments and age restrictions. While assingning training groups our coaching staff takes in consideration both skill level and age. As a result, your child may be placed in a more or less advanced group based on skill and yet be swimming with younger or older swimmers.
Sailfish I (6 - 8 year olds)
This training group is designed for swimmers who are starting to swim competitively. In this group, swimmers can expect to work on development of all 4 swimming strokes, starts and turns technique. Sailfish I offers a perfect opportunity for swimmers who swim summer/recreational leagues looking to swim year-round. We recommend attending 2 or 3 practices per week (at least) to make sure each swimmer has the opportunity to work on different swimming strokes as the season progress.
