The Silver Hawk Summer Swim League makes its return in 2018!  This is an introductory program into the world of competitive swimming.  Participants should be able to swim 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke in order to be in this program.  Swim lessons are recommended for those unable to meet this requirement.  Read below for more information on this awesome program!

        Registration begins Monday, April 2

        June 4th - July 26th

Practice Times

        Monday/Wednesday   7-8pm

       Tuesday/Thursday     7-8pm

Swim Meets
There will be a series of meets against other, similar summer swim leagues in the greater Seminole County area.  Summer 2018 meets coming soon!

As you know, here in Florida we have unpredictable weather events. Please always plan on attending practice as the inclement weather usually passes quickly.

The Silver Hawk Summer Swim League will dive into action starting June 4th / June 5th at the Lake Howell Aquatic Center.  Children ages 5-13 join their team for practice 2 times per week.  Swim meets will be held throughout the summer.

Children are placed in groups according to age and ability.  We have different training levels and have coaches on the deck at all practices.  All practices are held from 7- 8 pm on either Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs.

Practice Goals
Please keep in mind that this is not meant to be a swim lesson.  Although most of the practices are meant to be instructional, they are applied in a large group setting in which swimming fast and racing are encouraged.

The use of swimming drills and equipment such as kick boards, fins and noodles are used to aid in the learning process in a fun atmosphere.
