Palencia Pool Policies

A couple friendly reminders to keep in mind while using the pool or attending practices at the Sweetwater Creek Amenity Center. The Sweetwater and Marshall Creek CDD Boards have graciously agreed to our swim team using the pool and we are required to follow their policies as guests at the pool. During practices, only swim team members are allowed in the pool. Children not a part of the swim team are not allowed in the pool or in the water by the stairs.
Non-swim team members may be in the pool if they are swimming laps, but children under fourteen (14) years of age entering the SCCDD Swimming Pool must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The swim team is required to leave two lanes open for residents during the team's use..
A couple other pool policies are:
No climbing on the lifeguard stands, hanging on the lane lines, interfering with the lap-swimming lane, and unauthorized diving is prohibited.
The emergency exit is only for first responders.  Members and guests need to leave through the fitness area.
The traffic circle is not to be used as a parking spot.  If swimmer has not come out of fitness center within 5 minutes of pulling up, please wait in the parking lot.
