Category 5 - Coach Andrew

Designed for advanced swimmers.  Category 5 swimmers continue to hone their technical skills while also increasing their endurance with more challenging sets.  Swimmers in this group also incorporate dryland training in addition to in water workouts in order to gain speed, power, and core stability.  Category 5 practice is offered 6 days per week for 1.5 to 2 hours as well as drylands 2-3x per week.  Recommended attendance for this group is 5-6 times per week.

Required Equipment: swimsuit, cap for girls, goggles, mesh bag, kickboard (junior size), fins, pull buoy (smaller the better), water bottle, paddles, tennis balls or golf balls
