Silver Team:
The Silver Team is a program designed for novice age group swimmers who are new to a year-round competitive swim team. This program is designed to develop a stronger working knowledge of the four competitive strokes, diving, flip turns and clock management.

How many practices should my child participate in to be successful?
It is recommended your child attend three practices per week.

Should my child participate in swim meet competitions?
It is not required that your child participate in swim meets; however, swim meets are a model of determining progress and development of the skills for each of the competitive strokes.

What equipment will my child need to be a member of the Montgomery Aquatic Race Club?
The Silver Level swimmer will need the following equipment:
Practice Suit, Competition Suit, Goggles, Cap, Kick Board, Training Fins, Pull Buoy, *Hand Paddles, Mesh Equipment Bag.
*Please speak with your lead coach to assist in getting the "right" hand paddle for your child.

Where can we purchase our team equipment?
You can find our equipment list in our registration packet. Contact our team vendor, D&J Sports, let them know what group your child swims in and they can prepare an equipment package for you.
