As an athlete, getting your nutrition is imperative for success. Having the right meal or snack choice will greatly improve performance in training sessions and competitions. By doing this, swimmers will be able to train harder for longer time periods, have a quicker recovery between swim sesions/races, and race faster at meets. Remember, what you eat before, during, and after training sessions or a swim meet is very important to your body's needs for a good, healthy, workout.
