Whitewater - This group encourages continued skill development for the purpose of further laying the technical foundation for long term success and creating short term seasonal success and in the sport while they learn. Stroke refinement remains the primary focus and an introduction to training sets and speed work is introduced. Goal setting and power points are introduced to help swimmers measure improvement. Meets experiences are centered around personal improvement and team success.
Swimmers in this group will lean about consistency in training and form and increase the ability to apply subtleties to develop mature swimming form. Practice are offered 5 times a week, see schedule below.
