How do I become a USA Swimming Official for SAS?

Officiating is a volunteer position however you may be able to deduct your travel mileage & other expenses - it is strongly recommended you consult with your accountant with regards to allowable deductions.

There is a great need for the “wet” or deck official and it begins with becoming a Stroke and Turn Judge – these officials stand at either end of the pool or walk along the side of the pool and observe the swimmers to ensure that the technical rules of the individual strokes are being followed.

BECOMING A STROKE & TURN JUDGE
