How do I sign my swimmer up for a meet?

Meet signup is handled through the Maverick website.  All Maverick swimmers are automatically entered in Maverick-hosted meets.  For non-hosted meets, you must declare your intent to attend by clicking the “edit commitment” button associated with the meet (see below). 

Please note that all meets have a registration deadline (found by clicking on the meet and listed on the Maverick calendar).  No swimmers may be added to a meet after the commitment deadline.

The next screen opens.  Click on the underlined swimmer’s name to change their commitment status.

The next screen opens.  Click the arrow dropdown box to the right of “signup record” to pick yes or no.  If you select yes, you will see the screen below.  Select the day(s)/session(s) that you wish to attend.  You can determine which sessions your swimmer will attend by reading the meet packet.

Where do I find the meet packet?  What information is found there?

Go to the website & click the events tab on the menu bar.  Select a meet.  The meet packet, if available, will be posted under forms/documents. 

The meet packet contains everything there is to know about a meet:  host club information, location, directions, entry limitations (how many events a swimmer may enter), events offered, warmup times, positive check-in times, and more.

 

How do I view my swimmer’s meet entries?  What will they swim at an upcoming meet?

Login to your account.  Navigate to the “events” tab to see all upcoming meets.  Click on the meet your are interested in and then look for the “edit commitment” link.  You should then see a list of your athletes and their events.  Please note that meet entries may not be posted until 2-4 weeks prior to a meet.
