High School

Elkhart United Aquatics and its coaches take great pride in maintaining our practice groups to best fit the development and needs of our swimmers and their families. Swimmers who join our team will be placed in the groups that the coaches feel are the most developmentally appropriate for their athlete. Their placement will depend on the development of their stroke techniques and swimming abilities.

The practice attendance goal is given as a guideline. The more practices an athlete can make the closer that athlete will get to his/her potential. At the same time ELK’s staff is primarily made up of teachers and we realize that the athletes who make up our program are first and foremost students. We understand that there are times where the attendance goal cannot be met. Communication with the athlete’s group coach, when these problems arise, can help us as we set goals for the athlete and continue to meet our team goal to build character, leadership, and discipline into the athletes in our program.
